- Place several morsels in a cup of warm water that is between 100-105 degrees.
- The soak time can vary from 1-1/2 min. to 4 min.
- Add warm water to maintain water temperature.
- Let the young bird bite, bill, or swallow.
- Push the whole morsels down the back of the throat and watch your bird "PUMP IT DOWN".
- Feed until the bird is satisfied or the crop is full.
- Once the bird is eating the hand weaning food then you can stop the syringe or spoon feedings.
