Dry Matter basis

A powder to use for raising your babies. This food is developed and manufactured to meet the stringent digestibility and sterility requirements of baby birds.

We have two formulas:

Scenic Handfeeding: (6% Fat level)

Manufactured in a human food mill, and therefore sterile, we use only all natural ingredients suitable for human consumption. Our mill adheres to the highest inspection standards for human food consumption and practices the highest level of quality control to prevent any deviations from our published nutrient specifications. Other baby foods are made in feed mills, often by bird seed companies. Our highly specified ingredients ensure that your baby birds get the finest in avian nutrition.
Vitamins and other supplements are not necessary when feeding Scenic Handfeeding Food and should only be used under the supervision of a veterinarian.

1 part dry Scenic Hand Feeding Powder
3 parts of water
Add all ingredients together and stir well. Adjust amount of water to obtain a creamy texture. If storage is desired for later use, the fresh mixture can be poured into a sterile ice cube tray and frozen. After formula is thoroughly frozen, the cubes should be removed and placed into ZIP-Lock style bags. Observe all sanitary
precautions and do not thaw for use more than one time.
Please store in a cool dry location. Keep covered when not in use. Refrigeration is not required.
