
Philosophy
It
is our belief and our intention to sell a high quality product
at a fair price and to make it available to our customers through
the best means. We consider our stores to be our distribution
partners and we have quality literature and packaging to help
you sell our products. We believe that the best means to help
our customers feed their birds is by having high quality, reputable
independent stores carry our products. However, selling our products
requires education, training and practice through use.Although
we do not require stores to feed our products to their own birds
in order to become a dealer, the ability to demonstrate proper
use of our products has proven to be the best way to share our
safe and reliable feeding protocols with the consumer.
Policies
PRICING
is established to provide a fair profit margin between the store
and us. We include freight in our pricing to our stores. We do
not support Internet eCommerce or other stores that advertise
deep discounts on our products.
SHIPPING services and drop shipping services carry a minimum
mark-up to cover our cost. We use Fedex, UPS, and the US Postal
Service, whichever we feel serves our customers the best. We are
very responsive and usually ship within 24 hours of receiving
the order.
DISTRIBUTION is established through well-known and reliable
independent dealers. We do not compete with our stores for the
customer's business. We refer all inquiries to stores whenever
possible. We do not sell to mass merchants like PETCO and PETSMART
and do not intend to do so in the future. In some areas we have
professional distributors. In these cases we support the distributor
and refer all stores to them for service. We do not sell seeds,
treats or edible toys.
CUSTOMER SERVICE is provided by telephone, emails, faxes,
and field support. We provide valuable presales and after sales
support to new bird owners using our weaning foods for the first
time. We are available for free nutrition counseling, guidance
on feeding protocols, and even veterinarian consultations between
the hours of 9 AM and 4:30 PM CST. In the unlikely event we cannot
answer a call immediately, we return all telephone messages within
24 hours.
ORDERING is handled most efficiently if the order is faxed
or emailed by 12 noon. We keep confidential, locked files of all
order information including credit card information as a service
to our stores and customers. A credit car number left on file
with us assures a timely shipment. Standing orders and reorders
are also handled efficiently to allow the store more time to attend
to other things.
